What is the real deal with pumping iron?
There is so much talk these days about "functional strength" and the movement away from weights. I had the chance to talk with my good friend and strength guru Jerrod Maguire about this topic in Arizona.
Here are some of the positives about using some type of weight training in your program...
- Mental connection to weights, strong focus and attention
- Increase bone density, as we get older, even more important
